My pictures this week pretty much cover it. Mom took me on a road trip - and it was rainin' the whole trip. It was so great to go with Mom, but rain makes me sleepy. Does it make you sleepy, too?

ROAD TRIP!!!
Well, instead of takin' a nap, we hit the road. Not for real. It's just a figure of speech. She strapped my harness on me, and then strapped me onto the seat belt thingy. We were on our way.

Where We Goin', Mom?
So, as long as I was goin' with her, I thought it would be nice to know where we were goin'. She said it was just gonna be a short trip. Sure.

Another Stop
It seemed like we were in the car for forever! We stopped at the Primitive Gatherin's store to get Mom's newest Wool Box. Then we went to the glasses store. (Mom didn't choose any this trip.)
Then, we stopped at the furniture store so Mom could see the sofa sample like the one she and Dad picked out. (They're waitin' for it to get made and then delivered.) She came back to the car with a spring in her step. She found out that the completion date for us has changed from November 15th to November FIRST! Mom was so excited! Instead of waitin' six weeks, it looks like it will only be three. I couldn't wait to get home to tell Bella and Carly. We're gettin' a new couch! WOOO HOOO!

Are We Home Yet?
The excitement was short-lived, 'cuz we ended up in the car for another couple hours while Mom made stops and I waited. Then, after all her errands were done, we still had about 5,000 miles to drive before we got back home. There was a silver linin' in the rain clouds, though.
Mom stopped at Culver's and I got to have a couple french fries. That made up for all the nap interruptions. Culver's fries are the best!
We got home, and told Dad all about our excitin' news. Then, Dad looked at the clock and told us it was dinnertime for Boo, The Kid and me! BOOYAH! After we ate, I told the girls the good news about our new couch. They got excited, too.
Well, the day spent with Mom was fun, but I was really glad to get back home again. You know the old sayin'...There's no place like home. (Just don't call me "Toto".)
