Happy Birthday, America...

To honor our servicemen and women who bravely serve, 

both here and abroad, I'd like to dedicate our Nation's Pledge.

Disapproving Labrador Ahead...

I sat outside today to finish hand sewing the binding onto my latest quilt. Rather than take of photograph of my half-finished sewing, I chose to take Kessie's picture instead.

 Just like a child, she knew right away 
that I was pointing the camera at her...

and almost as quickly, I got the "disapproving Labrador" look.
Oh well. I tried.
