Today is the big day...I  get to announce the winners of my sa-weet

Valentine Giveaway. I know. You're thinkin' chocolate now, aren't you?

Mom had to help me a little. She took me to the random number 

website and plugged in the information for the drawing. I won't 

make you suffer. Dad! Drumroll, please...

Turtle & Pansies Finish...

 Indeed. I played with wool this past weekend rather than start my

other on-deck project. I didn't finish the bunnies yet either because

I spent the entire day yesterday loafing and watching the big game.

 Block Two of my Wooly Critters Sampler quilt is finished. 

I love the little turtle nestled among the pansies.

So, I'll try to finish the "Chocolate Bunnies Table Topper"today.

Tuesdays With Tag - Valentine Giveaway...

Hi, Everybody!

I've been in the studio with Mom the past couple of

days and we're hostin' a surprise Valentine Giveaway!

 

Would you like to be my Valentine?

Mom was shopping and look what she found!!!

I think they're wonderful. I mean, think about it...Corgis and Chocolate!

I'm not allowed to have any chocolate, but I'm happy to share with two of

our friends this year. That's my giveaway! Two people will each win a box

 of Corgi Chocolates from me this month...in time for Valentines' Day.

So, if you'd like to be my Valentine, please leave a comment

on this post only. I will choose two winners next Monday

night and announce their names next Tuesday. All you have

to do is leave me a little "love" note to enter the drawing.

(Nothin' too mushy, of course, but "sweet" is encouraged.)

Mom said she'd even add a little somethin' somethin' of her
own for the winners. Well, remember I'll pick names next
Tuesday and Mom will mail out both their gifts in time for

Sweetheart Valentine Giveaway...

Are you in the mood for a little Valentine's Day love? I hope so!!!
I'm hosting a Sweetheart Valentine Giveaway here at Brynwood.

The centerpiece of my giveaway is a wool pillow
(handmade by me) decorated with hearts and flowers.
(Well, what would you expect to embellish your Valentine?)
There are a lot more treasures I'm including in this giveaway...

A spiral-bound journal that says "To Imagine Is Everything"; a gift tag with sparkling paper tabs, and a clock-topped paper clip securing multiple 12" long Sari ribbons by Louisa Harding from my yarn stash; a cluster of red roses; two bejeweled frames that also double as ornaments; and heart-shaped, red buttons...
There's also a sweet pink and gold-tone lapel pin (also made by me) that has the words "My heart beats for you", and it's embellished with a gold-tone wire heart and sparkling beads...
I've added two skeins of Caron Wildflowers fiber in shades of red; two fat quarters of Valentine-themed fabrics (hearts and candy!); and finished with red rick rack and red and white twine.
