I'm just leaving a quick post today. I'm going back to work this morning, and I want to give myself plenty of time.
Only two I've made aren't on this shelf...Theodore Badger and Henrietta Chicken, which were both gifted to special people. I will be making another of each for my shelf, though, so they will be represented.
I did rework King Scarface, adding more dark fur and fine tuning his facial features. I'm much happier with his look now.
I have no idea which animal I'll do next, but I am thinking on it. I also want to get back to the bluebirds, so there's that, too.
I'm not sure how I'll do with work today. Handsome and I went out for breakfast and ran one quick errand. When we got home, I curled up on the sofa and slept for two hours. My boss offered to come in early for me today if I think I need it, but I'm going to try not to do that, but I asked Handsome to have something figured out for dinner, just in case I didn't have meal prep in me by the time we get home.

This is the MOST ADORABLE collection!! You must be tickled everytime you walk past this shelf of lovelies! I would be smiling from ear to ear (well, when I'm not overanalyzing my projects for further "corrections" 🙄) I like the changes made to King Scarface (that seems like such a harsh name for such a mighty and majestic King of Beasts, but I guess he earned it). And, I know you are all grown up and make wise choices, but please do be careful returning to work. It is quite okay to let someone fill in for you for a change 😉

DeleteYou're right. I love walking past all my little spool critters. They make me smile. King Scarface does seem a bit harsh, but can you even imagine how strong he must have been? I'm still in awe. As for work, I took my stool along to sit, was careful not to overdo, and nearly called Handsome to come and get me around 2. Instead, I drank a lot of water, took a break and stayed until 4. My boss closed my till for me, thankfully, and I left straight up at 4, feeling tired but accomplished. I won't work again until Friday, and intend to do "not much" between now and then! Thanks for your concern, dear.
