May FW Blocks, A Finish and A Link...

July QAL Design (Just a peek!)
I finished my July design for the monthly QAL at Sandy's Quilt Shop! I'm really happy with the finished mini quilt. I'll share the pattern with all of you in July in case you'd like to make you're own.

Now it's time to turn my thinking back to the Farmer's Wife QAL...
Although I haven't finished all my April blocks, I'm going to put up the list for May so that the gals who are participating will know what to make after the April blocks.

Here are the May blocks:
# 1 - Attic Windows
# 3 - Basket
# 4 - Basket Weave
# 8 - Bouquet
#30- End of Day
#35- Flower Basket
#39- Friendship
#54- Kitchen Woodbox
#56- Maple Leaf
#60- Noon and Light
#61- Northern Lights
#73- Rainbow Flowers
#75- Rosebud
#85- Square Dance
#86- Squash Blossom
#89- Steps To The Altar
#92- Streak of Lightning
#96- Tulip
#97- Waste Not
#109- Windows

I'm looking forward to working on more blocks. I have about twenty three finished, with over one hundred on my list. My goal is to have them finished into a quilt by the end of the year, so none of us should feel pressured. Even so, it's time for me to get back to them.

I mentioned white chocolate-stuffed raspberries yesterday, and receive a few inquiries about what they are. I can tell you the chocolate flavor comes through more when they're served at room temperature. Thanks to Saucy's Sprinkles (blog) for sharing the idea just in time for summer. Click here to go to their post for Raspberry Rockets. If you make them, be sure to let me know what you think!

Oh my goodness! Those are too cute. I imagined the chocolate was melted, but I see, no need! I might have to make these real soon!

Oh I am feeling very patriotic seeing your tease for July design. I really love it! Yay for May FW QAL...I shall see which blocks I will make. How fun are these rasberries. This just might help me like them...chocolate is always approved. Happy weekend dear...
P.S. I was sorry to hear of Tag and his mishap with the chair leg. I suppose puppies will be puppies. I once had a black lab (Midnight) who chewed all the wooden patio furniture and chewed the leather saddlebags off a motorcycle. I guess he got bored while at home in the back yard and all the humans were at work or school. Midnight must have had some very strong sharp teeth!

I'm pretty sure they'll be delicious!
