Tuesdays With Tag - Toy Time...

Tag loves his toys. I try to keep them in a little basket, but he prefers that I keep them in a smaller container that doesn't require quite so much effort on his part to pick out the one he wants to play with mangle next.

Whenever I try to take a picture of him with one of his toys, this is usually what I get... face-full of Corgi. (Yeah. That's nice Tag. How 'bout you back up just a tad?)

This Nylabone™ is huge and actually heavy for him to lug around, but he really loves it. He drags the darn thing all over the place and gnaws on it like he's a wolf puppy rather than the Corgi he is. Good thing it's not a real bone (which we never give our dogs for their own safety) because he'd have destroyed it by now.
Then there's his "Wanna play?" pose. This is what I get after he's poked me in the leg with said toy about three times. This teeny Kong™ toy was a gift from his Border Collie friend, Cassie. I think it reminds him of her and that's why he likes it so much. They had a grand time together.
You knew I wouldn't leave out this week's "Disapproving Corgi" look, right? (There's at least one in every photo session.) This is his "Thanks, but I really don't like the Walmart kiddie picture pose." (Whatever.)

It's hard to tell how much he really likes this toy, which is hard rubber that he can squeak to distraction when he's chewing on it. (Did I say hard rubber? I think so.)
Then, he saw this. He's been begging for one of his own ever since. The way I look at it, he's walking all over me already. Do we think it's a good idea to let him run over me, instead? I'm going to have to give this more consideration before I give in.

  1. Love the look on his face. We bought one of the bones like you have for the pups and you know how Maggie destroys everything she can chew on..well we have had it almost a year and so far it is just chewed just a little on the end. Maggie is a lot better and I bet she would even be afraid of Tag..pups are enjoying the fence but we still have to keep a close eye on Maggie..wouldn't have that problem if I had a fur baby like tag huh?

  2. Tag needs a "Flying Squirrel". It is like a canvas "frisbee" toy that I got at Pet Smart. My girls love them!

  8. Tag in a Toon Car...now that would be a road trip. Tag you are certainly adorable and I can see how much you love your toys. Do you pick them up and put them neatly in the basket/bowl or does Mom have to do it all the time? Keep smiling with your precious face...
