It turned out that my airport card had died and needed to be replaced. While I was waiting for the repair to be effected, I strolled through the store and looked at all their goodies. Tables laden with iPads for people to try; iMacs with HUGE screens; and walls of accessories.
This one was my absolute favorite! |
In case you're not familiar with Cath, you can check out her U.S. webpage here. She's been a favorite in the UK for years, with her wonderful vintage fabric patterns and homemaking accessories.

By the way, my computer is back up and running at full speed now, so don't be surprised if you finally get an reply to all the wonderful comments you've been leaving for me!
PS. Kelly (Tag's breeder) saw my post about the Katherine's wedding earrings and sent me this link to purchase some knock-offs. I should have guessed that someone would have already copied them. Thanks, Kelly for letting me know!!
Hi! Glad your computer is o.k. How can an airport card (I don't even know what that is) cause all that trouble? Which cover did you decide on?

Donna,
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Now, of course, I will have to google this Kath and see if there is anything I need to buy. Blogging is an expensive hobby. Read a blog, google, paypal. So did you get the knock offs? They would look good with your new haircut!

Some day I want to actually go into an Apple store. I have no tech toys but do love them. I just knew you would pick the British cover. And how fun to find the "Middleton" acorn earrings for your collection. Now I shall Google Cath Kidston to familiarize myself with her work. Thursday Summer Smiles dear...
ReplyDeletePlease tell me you DID get the earrings????? You SHOULD!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh those are so cute! Glad your computer is well again. Have missed you. :)

If I had an iphone, I'd pick the same cover you did......it's awesome. I've been following Cath Kidston since the last time I was in England (2002). Before that, every time I went to England I was a huge Laura Ashley fan. I just can't get enough of England........you can never go overboard with anything from Britain.
