She Loves This Floss...

An envelope, full of goodness, arrived this week. My beautiful pal, Shell from The Raspberry Rabbits was offering sets of Valdani hand-dyed, 3 ply floss.

When we were together in Williamsburg, she was telling me how much she loves this floss and was so convincing that I had to purchase one of her sets for the 2010 Sentimental Journey design series she's sharing this year!

Just look at all those wonderful colors! Variegated, colorfast, and ready to use. I'm really looking forward to tearing open my package and starting something beautiful!
Of course, the bonus was another ball of floss, a tea bag of Shell's favorite tea...and wait for it...aha! a Ghirardelli raspberry-filled chocolate square (for The Raspberry Rabbits, of course!). Oh, yeah! Now, we're talkin'!

If you'd love to try the Valdani floss, click here to see the entire line at Shell's online shop. She's out of the Sentimental Journey sets, but you can still choose your own assortment from all the colors she has available.

  1. I have used this floss - I love it because you don't have to separate the three ply & it gives such a bold thick look to the stitching - Wonderful - And the best thing of all - colorfast !!!! I am stitching a BBD design with it now for a purse front - I am thrilled with the result

    Have a terrific day Sweetie!

  5. This floss is beautiful, almost too pretty to use. Like the moda jelly rolls, you just want to look at them. I think this floss would be pretty to crochet a bracelet with.

  14. Hi Donna, I do have some of the floss and have used it. I dearly love it. It makes a pretty design and as they say you don't have to separate it. Once you try it, you will love it. Have a wonderful day. Your Missouri friend.
