Acorn Beads And Oak Leaf Charms...

After a heads-up from one of my blog friends, I went and visited LeAnn from SummersStudioEtc on Etsy. She had been busy creating beautiful acorn beads and oak leaf charms. Well, girlfriends...you know me. I had to go shopping!
These wonderful little treasures now belong to me! LeAnn even wired up the beads for me and added a beautiful jump ring to the oak leaf. Now, all I have to do is decide how I'm going to use them.

Anyone have an idea - except for earrings. I already own a stunning pair of crystal acorn earrings from a friend, and wouldn't want another pair. All ideas are really appreciated. Until I decide what to do with them, they'll be guarded by my sweet little squirrels in the studio. The Acorn Whisperer strikes again!

Oh, and be sure to visit LeAnn when you get a chance. She has all sorts of wonderful beads, pendants, and more for you to see. Please tell her I said "hi".

They would be so cute attached to the zipper of a favorite jacket or vest. So cute anywhere you put them! ;~P

Your newest acorns are simply charming. I can see them on the collars that Kes and Fezzik wear. :o)
Silly me...Happy collecting...

An idea flashed through my mind....since you are such a fabulous quilter what if you made a quilt (crazy quilt style maybe) and attached all the lovelies you get to that for display. That way to can see them all the time and everyone who visits can see them too.
Just an early morning idea. With all your talent I am sure you will come up with something gorgeous and innovative.

Oh, those ARE pretty! They could dress up a ceiling fan or two as fan pulls. I thought of attaching them to one of your quilt creations as well...on a small wreath...or on cloth napkins at Thanksgiving. ; )

Donna, they are just gorgeous! I love all the ideas everyone came up with on how to use them! I checked out her etsy site and I will be going there soon myself to purchase some "lovelies"! Thanks for sharing with us!

Attach them to a ribbon and make a book mark out of them. Tie them to a decorative bottle, to display in your kitchen window. Make a tassel for your favorite lamp. Tie them to a key and hang on a cabinet. Make tree ornament for the Christmas tree. Hang them on your needlework project traveling bag. Need some more ideas? Or more acorn beads?

Oh, those are so pretty! I'm sure you'll devise something lovely with them...maybe a purse charm or a necklace? Lee Ann's shop is great - thanks for the link. I love her little mushroom charms. :) Theresa

Donna, you acorns are darling creations! I'd want them on my clothing or a necklace clustered together. So cute your 'guards' hovering over them ... you'd better hope they don't get hungry! Chuckle!

Have a great eve ~

Hi Donna, I would put the leaf in the middle with the two acorns on each side and wear it as a necklace. It would remind me of where I got them from. You will come up with a creative idea for them. You will be busy for a while learning the music. I might try that as I am sewing hehe.
Have a great day my friend. Your Missouri Friend.

I love the acorns, but I really love that tile with the leaves and the acorn, that's right up my alley.

What little charmers. I'm sure you will think of a clever way to use these. Perhaps on a scissor fob?
The acorn tile is beautiful! ~ Sarah
