This is a Red Heart leaflet with a 1948 copyright date.
It was a gift from my aunt, who is a prolific knitter. You can see from this photo that
baby patterns really are timeless.
I'm hoping to spend part of my day with my cousin, Sheree.
She's visiting from California for some quality time with
her dad in Sarasota - and to celebrate her
mom's birthday later this week up near Orlando.
Perhaps photos tomorrow. She's a little camera shy,
unlike this cousin who is really a ham for the shutter.
Reminder:

ReplyDeleteMy Mother had all kinds of these baby pamphlet/booklets for crocheting & knitting baby items. Love that baby!

TTFN ~ Marydon
I have some of the old crocheting and knitting booklets that were my mother-in-laws. The pictures of the little ones are priceless. Enjoy your day. I have been to Orlando, Tampa and in that area on a vacation a long time ago. We went to a restuarant call the Kapot Tree. We went of course to Disney World, Busch Gardens, and loved the trip. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThey are timeless, aren't they!

That way everyone can see your Flower Cowl that you sold the design to Pagewood Farm. I am so excited for you and I know your article in my new magazine about you and handsome and ohter things would make a great story. So please say yes and start writing
