The Opera Singer...

This is Handsome's grandmother, Lulu - the opera singer.
She performed in the United States and Canada
in the early part of the 20th century.
I really like this image of her and thought you might enjoy seeing it, too.

It was rainy in south Florida yesterday, which made
it a perfect day for continuing to work on my valentines.

If you haven't entered my current (two) giveaways yet,

One is my Sweetheart Valentine Giveaway
and the other is my 200th Follower Giveaway.

Well Donna, how neat is that. She looks just darling. I have a sister named Lulu Belle, but she can't sing a note:) Hugs~Carol

That is a wonderful picture. I have quite a few pictures that my grandmother left me and some of them are so wonderful to look at!

What a beautiful photo, a treasure for sure. Does your husband or his family have any recording of her voice? That would be wonderful!

What a lovely lady she was. Amazing how talent can be passed down through a family.
