My Boogie Shoes...

I couldn't resist.
They were on sale, plus another 40% off!
(They were practically giving them away! Really!!)
Every girl should own at least one pair of Red Boogie Shoes!
and then,
you need the music to get you in the mood, too.
Hope this brightens your day!

  1. Hello Donna,

I'll take that second pair in a size 6.5 please. :0) They are adorable!

Thanks for coming over for a visit...I'm still laughing over your comment about all my fabric...and honey, that's not all of it! And after all these years of collecting why I'm opening a shop online to sell it bit by bit..hehe I have to keep some of it for me, right? :0)

I started collecting the vintage fabric some dozen years ago. Now I'm extremely picky before buying vintage since I have so much. I always joked that it would become retirement income one day...well, that's not such a joke anymore with what the stock market did to us the past 18 months! haha

Thanks again for sharing your humor..it's a lot of fun!

PS: I had to turn on moderation a while back due to naughty sites from China, Japan, etc... then I turned it off again after watching for several weeks...it's so stupid for them to target family friendly blogs.

  3. Donna amor, how I love that second pair, where did you find those? :) Also...I have no idea how I missed your beautiful studio during the Where Woman Create Blog event...my stars....I love all your beautiful things in it :) Especially all your vintage storage! I have an antique watchmakers desk that I use for all my tiny things...love all the lil drawers it has...as for blog moderation...I completely understand...I used to have that on mine too, but many that have Macs and some others couldn't leave me comments and emailed me, I changed it to unmoderated, and I have gotten a bad link a couple of times, but I just delete them, all comments are forwarded to my email, so as soon as I see one is there, I go to that post and delete it, now if it gets to the point that I am spending too much time doing this...then I might have to go back to moderating it :) Hope your having a wonderful week, Congrats on reaching 300+ Followers :) heres to many more to come! Besos, Rose

  4. Oh my, boogie shoes, that took me straight back to the 70s, just after I moved to London from Germany. Those were the days.......

Love the shoes, isn't it just so satisfying when you find a great bargain.

  9. I love red shoes and I adore both of your pairs-maybe the second photo a little more. I remember Carson on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy making unfavorable comments about women and red shoes. What does he know? He must have been jealous because he never had a pair! Every woman needs at least one good pair, and you have two!

  10. By Golden Ret. ate my favorite pair of red shoes. Not the whole shoe just the beautifulleather leaves on them. That was years ago and I still have them, just can't part with them. LOL Unfortunately my dog passed away at 4 yrs. of age of cancer. I look at those shoes and smile remembering what a great dog he was and how lucky I was to have him in my life. Even if it was for just a short time! Didn't mean to go on and on. Good grief...

  12. I really like your red shoes. My hubby thinks I need a new pair of red high heels. I really don't go anyplace to wear them and I definitely couldn't wear them to work. HeHe I might find me a pair of red flats that I could wear to work. Enjoyed your post.
