My March Artist Trading Cards...

This was another project I completed recently. These are in the mail and on their way to the Handmade Treasures group swap partners. There were twelve (plus me) for thirteen total this month.  I'm quite happy with the way they turned out.

I decided to go with a non-traditional green over the usual Kelly green, and although there are shamrocks (which were the theme), they're not the main feature. I added French knots to the center of the shamrocks, and the final touch was a small sparkle between the two largest ones.

I'm already looking forward to finding out what Jan's theme will be for April..."Showers" perhaps? We'll see soon.

I have more projects to share this week, but I'm baking cinnamon rolls today. Our classmate dinner is at 3 pm, and I have a lot to finish in the kitchen before then. Better grab my coffee and get busy!

Thanks, dear. We had a great time. One of the guys brought Birthday cupcakes for dessert.

    1. Hi MA:
When I worked in a law office many moons ago, my boss had an Irish last name and St. Patrick's Day was always cause for celebration. I even had a kelly green suit. Yikes. I'm much happier with this more subtle nod to the holiday. Glad you like it better, too.

    1. Hi Sherry:
Thank you so much, sweet friend. I love your hand crafted atcs, too. They're wonderful, and equally treasured. I'm so glad we're in the same swap. I got the last of my rolls frosted just in time to take to dinner tonight. I sold them all! We had a great time, too.

  6. I was surprised by all the smoke here on the East Coast, but then I realized that it's from your
needles!!! And those ATC's , always the perfect touch for each one. Great choice of green.
    Enjoy your dinner.

    1. Hi Shirley:
You had me giggling again, once I figured out where you were going with the smoke comment. lol I'm glad you like my color and design choices, my friend. Dinner was fun, and after spending the morning - actually right up until I needed to leave - making cinnamon rolls for the crew, I was particularly pleased when every box sold! My cinnamon rolls paid for my dinner. wheeeee!

  7. I am in awe! Beautiful. My Irish ancestry is smiling. Love 💕 them. What a fun event! You are so talented! “Showers” are fun but something with umbrellas would be awesome. I’m a little partial. Bobbi

    1. Hi Bobbi:
Oh, goodness. Your compliment is accepted, dear. I'm sure Jan will give us the official theme soon, but I was actually contemplating an umbrella design. Great minds! I'll let you know when she tells us. I post my monthly photograph of all the cards I received soon, too. Like mine, there are a few latecomers this month. Another month fairly flew by!
