Binding The Faeries...

Yesterday, I sewed the binding onto the "Faerie Glen" quilt. I chose to bind it with the same fabric that I used for the back. Beautiful, green leaves to really complete the theme of the quilt.
I sewed the label onto the back (baby's name obscured here for privacy). I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and I'll be putting it in the mail to the birthday girl today.

I'm on a binding "roll" now, so I'll finish the French General and Williamsburg Welcome quilts next. I'll share my progress tomorrow.

Hey! It's already Friday. Man, this week went fast! What did you accomplish this week? What's on your agenda for the weekend? Something fun, I hope!

PS. Thanks for all the compliments on my new look. There are a few things that have to be tweaked yet, but I'm really loving it!

As always I love coming by and seeing what you my friend are doing and you never disappoint me.
I just wish I could be like you for at least one day in my life.
Your site is really pretty and the more I visit it the more I am liking it.
Just wish I were brave like you and do some big tweaking to mine but maybe some day down the road.
Hope you have a lovely weekend

Hi Donna, I'm finally visiting my followers, it's been 2 months. So many things! Thanks you for all of your very gratefully received comments. You are so sweet. I remember that you we my first card exchange. I see your card every day.
I love, love, love your last two quilts. I have 6 big ones that I need to get done before next May. Do you machine quilt them?

Love your new look also, Karen has redone several things for me. We're about ready to redo my stitches-n-stuff.

We'll have a wonderful week-end.

Hi Donna! I accomplished absolutely nothing this week, much less something as beautiful as that quilt you made. I always love you choices in companion fabrics.

I want to Thank You for you well wishes while I was sick. You always make me smile and feel so cared for.

I'm used to packing a light weight down throw and other necessities when we take Nadine to the emergency room so I quickly filled a bag to go with me. I was pretty sure I wasn't coming home. And with the stress of my head ache and sinus trouble I quickly grabbed one of your sachets. I was so glad that I did. It took them 2 days to get me on the right med for the headaches and I couldn't have gotten though it without that soothing Lavender. Thank you so much.

Love, Tracy :)

P.S. Happy 3rd birthday to your sweet Granddaughter!

Such a beautiful quilt! I am not a quilter, however my mother is so I know and appreciate how much hard work goes into them.

I love the tag you sewed in for your granddaughter. Can I ask where you got those? That would be a perfect gift for my mother!

I wanted to visit your blog and introduce myself. My name is Sherry and I am a new Bloggerette Sorority Sister. I have only been blogging for a few weeks so I missed out on the rush, but I look forward to joining in on the fun in the future. I would be honored if you would visit my blog at http://scrappingwithsherry1.blogspot.com/ Thanks and I hope to see you soon!
