Boy, did we have a busy weekend.

Mom warned me, but I just didn't believe her.

own business. Dad headin' over to Uncle Mike's on Friday changed that.

I finally couldn't stand it anymore, and thought I'd give her a run for her money.

She sure grew some long legs while she was at Uncle Mike'! Even runnin' full speed, I couldn't catch her! The best I could do (in Corgi fashion) was circle back around and cut her off.

I'm tellin' ya, it was nice to sit a spell and enjoy the cooler weather

that finally arrived yesterday. Mom's pretty happy about it, too!

I think I'm lucky I didn't get a charlie horse with all that runnin'. I mean, we didn't even do warm up exercises! We just started chasin' around my front yard 'til our tongues hung out!

I'd better rest quick. I know "Runaround Sue" and I will do this all over again next time we go outside. (Don't tell anyone, but I get happy just thinkin' about it.)
