Nothing like a little musical entry for Silver Sunday!This is one of Handsome's Rogers drum kits. This one is circa 1970s. He also has another kit that I just love. It has a pearl finish and really sparkles, but that one is packed up right now, as he just finished playing in a band that accompanied a circus in Gibsonton, FL yesterday!
Imagine this set, trimmed in chrome plating over polished brass, a sleek white finish, and Handsome sitting on the stool - sticks in hand. My husband has his old drum kit from the 70's. It's a cheap one and it's had its day. He wants to get rid. I recently had a thought that I could take the big one, paint it black, couple of red stencils on it and thread rope in a zig zag around it - make it look Victorian and use it as a side table. You're probably crying now at the thought, and for goodness sakes don't tell Handsom! xx

We love drum sets around here also. At one time I think we had three!!! Now just the custom maple that Delly uses. Sure is fun...

Love the drums, my grandson plays drums for with our Praise Team at church and Mr. D has played guitar for many, many years. His music has been the background music of my life.
