Tag's Friends

I'm posting a photo gallery of all my pals...either online or "in person".
I'm a lucky Corgi, indeed.
Things changed drastically for me on April 20th, 2015 when Dad drove to
Jupiter, FL to pick up my "little sister", Bella. She was born Feb. 22nd, and was
eight weeks old in this picture. She's new around here, but she's fitting in just fine.

Outside our house, my list has to start with my real-life brother, Trip. He
lives in Michigan with Miss Marion and Mr. Doug, and his black
Labrador brother, Nicky. His Mom and Dad and my Mom and Dad
are real good friends. We try to see them at least once a year when we
travel. We have great times together and I can't wait to see him again.

I met sweet Arabelle when Mom and Dad were in Williamsburg, VA.
Her Mom and mine spent the whole day together. We had a great time.
Her Mom is Miss Sharon who has a blog called "Corgis In My Garden".
Mom really likes reading her blog and reading what they're up to!

Nelson is a great guy. He belongs to Mom and Dad's friends in Wisconsin.
His Mom stood up in their wedding about a hundred years ago! I met him
when he was a puppy. He's fun! Can you tell he's a black Labrador, too?
He has a new brother and I hope I can meet him next time we're there.

Gracie and Sophie (below) live together near Detroit. Their Mom
is a blog friend of Mom's. Her name is Miss Terri M., and her blog is
called "Chocolates for Breakfast". (Chocolates are bad for dogs,
though, so we only read about it, not eat it!) She stitches gorgeous
samplers, like Mom used to. Mom makes more quilts these days.

Sophie also lives with Miss Terri. Doesn't she have just the cutest
face? (So does Gracie!) Be sure to check out Miss Terri's
blog "Chocolates For Breakfast" to keep track of the girls!

Iceman and Rampage are Corgi brothers who live in North Dakota.
Their Mom, Miss Karen, leaves really nice comments for Mom and
she sent a picture of the boys that I could use here. She said Iceman
is "calm and cool" (I'm thinkin' "Ice, ice, baby") and Rampage acts
"just like his name, erping and derping" all over the place.
They look like a fun and dynamic duo for sure! I wonder if Mom and
Dad will ever take me to North Dakota so I can meet these two
handsome fellas? ("Oh, MOOMMM! Can we go to North Dakota?")

This is my new pal, Bolt. He lives with Daniel in Georgia, and that's
practically right up the road from here! Isn't he a good lookin' fella?
Daniel and his mom, Andrea read my posts every Tuesday so they
contacted me to introduce me to their four-legged family member.

Bolt is a Corgi mix (but he looks more Corgi than anything else, right?).
He grew up on an Air Force base, so he looks up in the sky every
time he hears an airplane. Since Daniel and the rest of Bolt's family
live in a flight path, they hear planes all the time. Isn't that cool?

He likes to play "chase" and will chase Daniel - or Daniel can chase him.
He doesn't care, as long as he gets to run around. That sure is a Corgi trait.
Anyway, he sounds like a great guy and I'm hopin' to meet him soon.
A guy can never have enough friends, and I think we'd have fun.

 This is my friend, Jill.
Her mom, Arleen is a friend of Mom's and her dad, Chuck is our electrician.
Jill is a Papillon, and I think her floofy tail and fuzzy ears are very fetchin'.
Jill doesn't live far from me and says she has a crush on me, too!
I like that.

 In Memoriam
Lady Kes of Morgan (11/03/97 - 08/09/11)
Kes was my yellow Labrador big sister before she died in 2011.
I was just a puppy then, but I liked her a lot and she let me live
with her. She was a good, ol' girl and we all miss her a lot.

Stout is another Labrador pal. He belongs to our long-time friend from
Wisconsin who lives here in Florida now. I get to see him all the time.
He's kinda old and cranky and won't play with me, but I like him anyway.
We spend most of our holidays together and he loves ridin' in the car.
He even wears "doggles", 'cuz they ride with their roof down. Cool!
(Stout passed away in 2017)

I even have a friend named TAG! His nickname is Tag E. Butt. Mom
told his mom that my nicknames are Tag-wart, Tag-leesh, Fuzzy Butt and
Willie. Really? Is nothing sacred around here? (Thanks a bunch, Mom!)
If you wanna know why she calls me Willie, you'll have to ask her.

Tag E. Butt lives in Madison, Wisconsin and his mom writes a great blog
called, The Doodles of My Mind. Miss Jacque and Mom have a lot more in
common than just dogs with the same name, too. I know I'll meet him some day.
(Madison isn't that far from where we camp every year in Eden, Wisconsin.)
(Tag E. Butt passed away in 2016.)

Nicky is a great guy. I met him when Mom and Dad came to pick me up in
Michigan to go home with them. Nicky is the Labrador brother to Trip.
I was just a puppy then, but I've seen Nicky since then, too. He's a sweet,
(tolerant) handsome guy, don't you think? I'm partial to Labs, myself.
(Trip's "brother from another mother", Nicky, passed away in 2016.)

Gotta include Ceri on my list. She was a Corgi mix we rescued when
she was found abandoned and homeless.  Then we took her to Wisconsin
to live with Mom's sister, Miss Di. She lives in Minnesota now...where it's
cold and snowy. Ceri really loves snow so that's good! She also has a beagle
brother now, named Ace. They get along real well and he likes her a lot.
(Sadly, Ceri passed away in 2020. We were all very upset to hear she was gone.)

That's my list for now. Gosh! I hope I didn't forget anybody!
If you want your picture here, please have your Mom or Dad email
Mom. Have 'em send a real nice picture of you with some info about
where you live and stuff you like. I'll add you to my "Tag's Friends" page!
