As requested, I'm sharing photographs of all three wall hangings together. Of course, I'll rearrange when I complete the autumn wall hanging in 2026, but this is how I've arranged these three for now.
Robins and Cardinals were hanging in my studio until I moved them into our bedroom. Now, I'll see them when I wake up in the morning, and last thing before bed.
Handsome thinks I should consider having custom shadowbox frames with UV glass made for them. I'm seriously considering it! What do you think?

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely and encouraging comments along the way. We'll start again next year, but for now, I'm going to take a break from songbirds and get busy on Christmas projects. I'll have something completely unrelated for next week! See you then.

I really like Handsome's idea! That seems like a very wise investment to protect those lovely treasures. A person can forget how aggressively the light can fade the beautiful fabrics. I know I wasn't think about it, and now that I've read today's post I can't imagine not protecting them. However, it looks like you already have personal body guard sitting watch there on the bed 😄
ReplyDeleteThey are all so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHandsome has a great idea!
Marilyn
Thank you for showing them all together. They are truly lovely!
ReplyDeleteI like Handsome's idea too. All the work you've put into creating them should be preserved and kept safe from dust which is the enemy of so many needlework pieces. I say go for it!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. They look so good together.
ReplyDeleteGood thing Claudette is making sure they stay on the wall and don't take flight.
Handsome, the man's a genius, but we knew that anyway, I just had to put it in print.
I'm so thankful that I get to follow along on this magnificent songbird journey that your have created.
Donna, thank you for the joy you bring us with each and every post for so many years.
Enjoy the weekend.
