Something Blue Bridal Heart Brooch - WIP |
I found out yesterday that I'll only have to do once-a-week physical therapy until I'm finished. I'm scheduled out through mid-October, but I'm going to assume I'll be released before then. With that in mind, I'm going to need to complete this brooch for Jenna.
She's getting married this time in 2026, but just in case I don't get to see her again (she transfers, or something along that line) before I have my second knee replaced, I want to make sure she has this gift for her special day.
I won't see her again until next Monday, so I'd like to have it completed by then to be able to gift it to her. So, this is what I'll be working on the rest of this week. Finally!!
I know it's going to be sparkly & pretty.
ReplyDeleteShe will love it!

Hi Marilyn:
DeleteThank you so much, girlfriend. I sure hope she does!

I really think that is such a special gift. I'm sure she will love it and know that she is quite appreciated for her assistance to you! Happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteHi Lois:
DeleteI'm hoping so! When she told me our visits were dropping to once a week, I actually got a little sad. After she hooked me up to the ice machine, my eyes kept leaking. I had to pull myself back together before someone wondered what was wrong. So silly, right? Thanks, hon.

This will be such a special gift and will cover the 'something blue' perfectly. Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteHi MA, dear.
DeleteThanks so much. I hope she'll wear it on her special day. I 'll easily completed it by Friday so I can gift it to her. More photos soon!

Sherryofcreateology: Hello Dear. I have not been feeling well to comment however I have been reading your posts. You already know I broke my clavicle amongst other painful items. This is the most pain I have had since I Blacked Out five years ago. Both times spent days in the hospital with lots of tests and heart monitors. NO conclusions then and NO conclusions now. NO driving and I had to cancel all my September and October Art classes. I am exhausted from the pain and I know you are familiar with that. Hubby is taking very good care of me. I Love You!
ReplyDeleteDear Sherry:
DeleteYou have no idea how much you've been on my mind, and I've been keeping you in my prayers. I actually broke my clavicle when I was about five years old. Too long ago to remember just how much it hurt, but I think everything is more painful as we.......mature. I'm just so sorry this happened to you! I completely understand how exhausting the pain can be, and we're fortunate to have wonderful caretaker husbands. Please get well soon. (Watch your mailbox next week!)
Love always,
xoxo
