Life Is Good |
I'm going to stitch on my bluebirds today, and have plans for the puffin spoolie soon, too. Friday is my last day of work for a while, so I see lots of creative moments in my future. I'll be sharing bluebird updates tomorrow.
Have a blessed day!
That pastry looks so good!
ReplyDeleteRest well once it is all done. Give your body time to heal.
Hi Sandi:
DeleteThanks, dear. I wish the post office were faster. I'd be sending samples all over the country! I'm doing my best to prepare for the surgery, when I know my rest will be enforced. Sleep is always my "go to" post-op. That's how I heal the best. I appreciate hearing from you.
Hugs,
xoxo

R and R sounds like a great plan.

Life is good no matter what my situation is, I don't give myself any other choice.
ReplyDeleteYou always have such a wonderful attitude. If we weren't worried or nervous about
what we are about to go through, we would be lying to ourselves. It's not a piece of
cake (or fabulous cinnamon bun) but all the good wishes and prayers will certainly see you through.

Hi Shirley:
DeleteTruthfully, I have a "mostly" positive attitude. Constant pain messes with your head, so I try to overcome it, or at least suck it up and triumph over it. You're right. What choice do we have if we choose not to let it control us? I am a bit nervous, but am looking forward to a little more short-term discomfort in favor of long-term, pain-free health. Thanks again for the prayers. I'm going to make up more rhubarb scones to freeze to have "take and bake" treats ready to go post-op. I'll teach Handsome how to drizzle icing on them later. hee hee
Hugs, girlfriend.

Well I don’t know where the message I sent you went.I’ll send a watered. note! My daughter 2 knee replacements she said the second was easier because the fear of the unknown was gone and she knew she could do it! She said one main things she learned was don’t hold off with the pain medicine because if you do it takes longer to take effect. She said go to philosophy and do what they tell you even if it hurts because you get better faster. She was on WCPFrom work and they paid for it because she hurt knees at work Physiotherapy I meant! Iknow you’ll do great because you’re a perfectionist and you get things done and like my Daughter you went to work in pain .Hopefully your up and at it and pain free on your way Sandra from BC
ReplyDeleteThere's always pre-op appointments, hope all goes well.
ReplyDeleteLove that mug!
