Today's Forecast...

What's left to say? I'll be doing a bit of canning, perhaps some snow removal with Handsome, putting out more birdseed, and a lot of "staying inside!

  1. Same here, staying in, glad I cancelled an appointment for today.
I can't tell how much snow we've gotten, it's so windy & drifting.
    I hope it stops soon.
We had rain yesterday, then sleet all day & last night snow.

  2. Crazy! Yes, we dress in layers these days...bathing suit, t-shirt & shorts, sweat shirt & jeans, all topped with a thick sweater & warm coat... one never knows what weather the day will bring. Guess it's boots and not flipflops today. 🙄 Stay safe, warm, and healthy!

    1. Sounds like an excellent plan, Lois! Perhaps you'll have flip flops tomorrow. It's going to take a bit longer here. Thanks, hon.

  4. That is quite a bit of snow! Hopefully it will melt away quickly. Hubby, pets and I had to spend some time in the basement this morning when a tornado warning was posted. Thankfully what did come through was a few miles south of us and appeared to be light in terms of damage. Hubby was late leaving for work so he could help me if this happened. I’m 3 weeks out on a C7-T1 fusion so I’m rather slow. I’ve been fighting a severe lung infection the past week too that landed me in ER. To say it’s been interesting is an understatement! I’m ready for some unexciting days. Be careful when you must get out, and enjoy your peaceful day inside. Andrea Hickman

  6. Deja vu, that was me in February.
I open the door and the imprint of the door is two feet high in the snow.
Three inches of rain for me today, the worst will be over tonight.

    1. I well remember, Shirley. I think it will be a while before we can use the front entry as the porch and front steps are under a LOT of drifted snow. sigh I don't mind rain as long as it doesn't freeze. I hope that's the case for you.
