Wasted Day...

Did you ever have one of those days that you completely trashed because you were trying to find something you misplaced? That was a major portion of my day. I did get a little bit done, but most of it was spent "looking", and no. I wasn't successful. Dang!

I also know myself well enough to know that this dog won't let go of the bone. I'll keep searching - to the exclusion of all else - until I find "it".

How was your day?

And, I also keep searching until I find it.
Hope you come across it soon.

    1. Hi Marilyn-
Found!!! Talk about all the wasted time. This really incentivizes me to purge!
Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. Oh no - I hate days like that! I know it's time for a big clean up in my sewing room when I set something down not five minutes ago and it has disappeared into the abyss. That happens more often than I want to admit. Hope you find the 'lost' soon so you can get back to doing fun things.

    1. Hi MA-
I did finally find it. I'm ready to have someone come in and offer me cash for a bunch of stuff that they can resell, just to clear it all out. I'm definitely motivated to heavily purge!

  3. Sherryofcreateology: I seem to have that affliction. I am always searching for something I just know I have but can’t find. In fact when we moved here I never could find my glitter collection I had in various salt and pepper shakers. I knew I had packed them after carefully wrapping each one with seal cling under the lids. I accused hubby of throwing them away since he hates glitter. Well…I am happy to say I am eating crow and apologizing to him. Last month when we cleaned out the pantry he was lifting down the items on the top shelf. My Longaberger picnic basket was very heavy! He asked, “What is in this?” I thought it was my little Victorian houses I used to display. What a pleasant surprise when I opened the lid and found my GLITTER collection! It only took me almost 8 years to find it!!! Keep looking dear and you will find your lost item. XOXO

    1. Hi Sherry-
I can relate to your story, too! I'm still looking for things in packed boxes. We had a library room in Florida. I'd give anything for bookshelves here, but there are $$$ priorities, so they're near the bottom of the list. You and I moved about the same time. We'll both get there. I just know it.

  4. Glad you found it. No time is ever wasted, even if we think it is.
We always learn something from it. Purge, purge, and ..................
I know this all too well.
    Enjoy the weekend.

    1. Hi Shirley-
You're so right! I started last week. My goddaughter/niece wants my British Toby mug collection, so I'm packaging all of them up for her. I'm motivated to ship out a lot of studio supplies now, too. Wish me luck!!
