| Brynwood Swarovski Crystal Brooch In Progress |
This is an example of poor guesstimating. As you can see, I have half of this brooch to finish, and the last of my crystals are on my velvet bead board. I admit, my optimism had me convinced that I had plenty of crystals to do the whole brooch. Sadly, I was wrong - and I was on a roll, too! I didn't have nearly enough to finish.
Internet to the rescue! Iimmediately went online and placed an order for what I need (and more). It should be here by the 29th at the latest.
In the meantime, I'll set up a couple ladybugs, and maybe another heart to work on while I wait.
I'm working today, but hope to show you which other brooches I'll have set up to work on later this week. See you tomorrow.

Those crystals are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what else you create.

Oh, I hate it when that happens. It's nice you can roll right into some other projects while you wait. We are definitely spoiled by the ease of ordering online and the speed of delivery....but that may be particularly beneficial with the potential of having one car to share now...maybe?
ReplyDeleteOh no! Isn't that upsetting especially when you're on a roll too.
ReplyDeleteOn a sidenote about being on a roll - I thought I was doing a great job sewing a little dress for our granddaughter and was quite proud of it....until....I noticed that the opening for the back ended up on the shoulder instead. Oops. Not only that but I realized I'd somehow thought it was smart, instead of placing the front on a fold as the instructions very clearly point out, I cut it. Which explains why the collar facing didn't fit properly. You'd think I would have twigged to there being a problem then, but no. So, out will come the frogger and I'll start over. Luckily I had to order more fabric to complete the skirt and there's just enough to redo the entire top. Sigh.
