Generations© Jewelry Collection...

I've been busy! Today I photographed a number of my Generations© Jewelry Collection pins and have begun to list them up in my Etsy store.

I love the concept behind these pins. The images are all people or places I have known, with the exception of my Heroes pins. The Heroes pin encases an actual USPS postal stamp from 9/11...and I have actually priced them slightly lower so that everyone can purchase one to wear on Labor Day!

This pin is called On The Farm and features a spitfire named Julie. You can read all about her in the listing. With my Generations© collection, you can adopt an ancestor or an attitude. So, I'm heading in to take a fresh look at my studio, tidy up a bit and get ready for your visit to Brynwood Needleworks. I'll show you more of the things I like to create, how I organize my supplies, and tell you a bit about what inspires me.

I hope you'll continue to stop by between now and then. I'll be sharing my current projects with you, and letting you know what's in the works (like new birthday dresses for my two granddaughters!). A Bird's Nest In The Hand...

I was in the studio playing with wire and beads today, and look what I made! Tiny little bird's nests! Aren't they just the cutest little things?

I visit my favorite blogs every day, and recently came across a tutorial ("Little Wire Birds Nest") by the talented Cathe Holden of Just Something I Made. Her instructions and photographs make it easy peasy to make your own. So today, I decided to give it a go and these are the result.
