This Could Be Me...

When I'm not stitching and playing in the studio, I often
play with images with my camera, and then on my computer.

I've been watching so many of my blog friends change up
the look of their sites and have contemplated doing the same
here at Brynwood. My dilemma is that I really like the green
woodland-type background, so I'm having a real internal debate.

So far, I've done all of the blog set-up and "decor" myself.

I've tried out a few new header looks yesterday, and chose one that
I really liked as the new header for the Boutique.
What do you think?
These are all items from my studio, or items I've created.
Maybe I should change the color of the studio to reflect this palet?
I've added a new header here to try out.
Could this new look be me?
You know I love feedback, right?

Decisions, Decisions...

Whether 'tis better to change the wall colors...
...remove all my wall decor and start over...
or empty the room and start over.

I did empty my shelves and reassessed
everything that was filling them.
I removed the yarns and
put them into bins in the closet.

Now, the things I use most are
most accessible when I'm at my worktable.
Novel idea, right?

I only have until June 19th for the
Where Bloggers Create party.
So much to do...
So little time!

Decisions, decisions!

Hearts For Sale...

I finished Connie's Hearts' Desire choice yesterday, and
today it will be on its way to her house. I sure hope she loves it!
(Connie won my surprise blog drawing last week, remember?)

This design is called "Dear Heart".
It features a pink French silk ribbon rose, taupe ribbon ruffles,
and some of the same embellishment I used on Mum's wedding gown.
The final touch is a tiny pearl seed bead at every diamond
intersection on the fabric. It's filled with a silk blend stuffing.
These are the hearts I added to the Boutique this evening,
and I'll be making more Dear Hearts to list up, too.

Are you tired of seeing my hearts yet? I promise to give you a
break from them now. If you want to look at them,
you'll need to link over to the Boutique.
(Here's the link for the sachet pillows.)

Really, officially, I won't mention them again...
at least for a while.
