The Winds Of Change...

Web Image
Change is inevitable, and along with it comes excitement and curiosity.
What is around the corner for us?
Handsome and I have decided that we want to plan ahead for those changes that are inevitable. With some of the wonderful changes we've chosen over the past few years - my creative endeavors and his favorite venues for making music - moving makes perfect sense.

His musical endeavors are almost entirely centered in Sarasota now, and in just the past twelve months, he has driven nearly 6,000 miles between there and home. Those miles spent driving are dangerous, tedious and time that could be spent doing something more enjoyable.

We've also discussed options to be closer to our sons and their families. We're factoring in where we might like to be to facilitate that, too.
So, the first phase of our plans involve selling our home here in North Port, along with the three acres on which it sits.

While we're packing, tossing, donating and generally clearing out, we'll be exploring our north/south choices and planning for the next stage of our journey together. Whatever we do and wherever we go, we're happy and exhilarated knowing we have each other to share the trip.

Change Is Good...

Web Image
The winds of change are blowing through southwest Florida.
Handsome and I are making wonderful plans for our near future.

Preparations for those plans are keeping me from the studio and my projects. Well, that and re-injuring my back on Monday. Nothing serious...just enough to make life exciting. Thank goodness for ice and Alleve. I regrettably remind myself that I'm not a kid anymore and I need to be more careful.

I've even considered taking a little blog vacation. What with no projects to share - and secrets I must keep for now... Instead, I've decided that for the next few days, I'll post inspiration and links to some really great projects. I'll "talk" to you as I always do. I compare my posts to chatting with my friends over tea. In that light, I'll continue my daily posts with you.

I'm going to share a video with you today. It runs about 35 minutes, so make a cup of tea and relax to watch it. By the time you're finished watching Jennifer Bosworth's (Shabby Fabrics' owner) video, you'll be able to make your own.
Here's the direct link: https://youtu.be/W7qGxoTk6g0
I hope you enjoyed this video. I'll be back tomorrow with more creative fun.

URGENT - PLEASE READ...

Google Reader™ will be going away in a few days...
They've been threatening this change for a while, and I just kept hoping that
they'd relent. I was wrong. In the next few days, that feature will disappear
from my all Blogger blogs. I don't like it, but nobody asked my opinion.

If you follow me through Google Reader™, please consider subscribing
to Brynwood Needleworks via Bloglovin'™. I've placed the new widget
right above the Friend Connect™ widget to make it easy for you to find
(It's over there -> in my right side bar).
Once you subscribe, you'll receive my posts to your inbox every day.

This is different from Google Friend Connect™ or Linky Followers™. This
change is only if you're used to reading my blog through Google Reader™.

We've been told that Friend Connect™ may also change at some time
in the future, so if you're not signed up as a Linky Follower™, you might
want to do that at the same time. I know that I'm going to miss my Friend
Connect™ widget if they ever discontinue it. Linky™ provides the same
feature and promises that they will be a great alternative for the future.

Change is a difficult thing for me.
If we remain calm, perhaps this won't hurt too much.
Please sign up now so that we don't lose touch with each other.
I'd hate for you to miss all the great things I have planned.
