Wintertime Cozy...

"Cozy Christmas" Art by Jenn Weissenbacher

The perfect place to be on a cold winter night...tucked in your warm home with a pantry filled with tasty treats. All your neighbors are safe and warm, too. "A gentle fire, a little food, and an immense quiet".  (These are the words I chose for my "Hearth and Home" sampler design - BW-7 HERE. Perhaps I'll make my sampler designs available again in 2025. You can see all my designs by clicking the link in my sidebar.)

  4. Such a beautiful illustration and I love the quote. Just wish we could have a fireplace in our apartment - I'd be curled up in front of it all winter long.

    1. Hi MA:
I understand completely. It's the one thing the farmhouse lacks. There are evenings I really long for a warm, blazing fire in a fireplace. Doing an electric one wouldn't work either. I need the real thing. We've had them in our previous Wisconsin homes. There are times I just don't know what I was thinking. I love this house, but flights of stairs and no fireplace? sigh
      Happy New Year week, dear.
