I got in a bit more stitching yesterday. I sat down between loads of laundry, and enjoyed my dining room view while sheets dried on the line.
I'm working out all the edges and black sections now, and will again finish with the monarch oranges. Perhaps I'll get to that today after this morning's PT session. (I'm sure hoping so.)
What is especially fun is stitching these colors as I watch at least a half dozen Baltimore orioles (same coloration) flying past the windows to the grape jelly feeders I fill daily for them. I'll try to get a few photos of them soon.

Don't you wish you had a dollar for every stitch you've put into this already? You're creating a real work of art!
ReplyDeleteHi MA-
DeleteHeck, I'd be happy with a quarter a stitch! I think it's why I don't sell pieces like this. It would be hard to recoup my time and/or stitches. I'd have to charge $1,000 for a butterfly!
Happy Weekend!

More great progress.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of Orioles here also, so pretty!
Marilyn
Hi Marilyn-
DeleteI'm getting there! Don't you love all the sounds the orioles make? Plus, they're so pretty!
Happy Weekend!

Great progress.
ReplyDeleteI have no Orioles this year and have not seen any hummers either.
My feeders have been out for weeks. Very unusual for them no to be around.
Shirley
Hi Shirley-
DeleteThanks! Oh, dear. I wonder where your birds are?! I'll be hoping they turn up soon for you.
Happy Weekend!

Baltimore orioles - how inspiring! Grape jelly feeders? Hmm. I'm intrigued. I'll have to look into that. I wish you well making progress in both your beautiful stitchery and PT!
ReplyDeleteHi Lois-
DeleteYes! I have oranges out, too, but Eve the sparrows Love te jelly. Handsome says he's surprised they're not all diabetic. 🤭
Happy weekend!
