Last night, I went to bed happy tired. I got up early in the morning and made three dozen cinnamon rolls. I got them frosted just in time to drop off some rolls at work, and get to the restaurant for our classmate get together with the rest of them. Thankfully, I came home empty-handed. As usual, we had a great group, and we spent lots of time gabbing, laughing, and eating great food. I look forward to seeing them every month.
I'll be busy with the elves today, so I'm going to keep this short. I have lots to do and plan to keep my blinders on for the next few days. You can count on me to share what I get done, and what's left to do. Nothing like waiting until (nearly) the last minute, right? I seem to work best under a wee bit of pressure. See you tomorrow.
Looks like a happy bunch having a get together with friends!

Hi Marilyn:
DeleteIt was a grand time. I received your wonderful package today! Funny, as the mailman was dropping off your package, he was picking up the one I've sent to you! It should arrive in the next couple days. I love everything, dear. Thank you for your generosity.
Big Hugs,
xoxo

It's nice to see the guys are coming out too. So often they don't want to take part in such groups. Looks like a happy bunch!
ReplyDeleteHi MA:
DeleteYes. They come each month. Most of the time our tables are divided...gals on one end, guys on the other. This month, we were all mixed up. We had a great time and there was a lot of holiday cheer. We always hug as we part ways for another month. They're the best!
xoxo

Looks like a great group as always.
ReplyDeleteI also work better under pressure, even thought I'm kicking myself the whole time.

Hi Shirley:
DeleteIt was nice this month. We all stayed longer this time. I think the only reason we left when we did was because the restaurant was busy and they would have kicked us out soon for commandeering their tables. lol I know what you mean about "under pressure". I'm trying not to panic. Every year. You'd think I'd learn.
xoxo
