Calm In The Chaos...

We're clearing in earnest now. My fabric room is being emptied to make room for a bedroom for Jan. She and I cleared basement space for my fabric shelves and cutting table as a start.

Today, we'll move the smaller cuts of fabric into plastic totes and move them downstairs. Instead of being in cubby shelves, the totes will stack under my cutting table. I don't have time to sort them upstairs, so I'll do that in November when I have more time.

The bolt shelves will go downstairs next, and I have clear bags to protect the fabric from dust. That way I'll still be able to see what's inside the bag on the shelf to grab and cut what I want when I want it. I'll get to install a new work light above my cutting table, too. So considering we have an unfinished basement, it's going to be pretty bougie down there! Brynwood Studio will be a multi-level operation.

I'm going to take time to make my ATCs for Jan's swap group, too. The month is nearly over and I still haven't done them. A little creative time might be just what I need. Plus tomorrow is craft day, so I'm happy for that as well.

I guess I'd better enjoy my cuppa this morning, as I'm sure by the end of this day, I'll probably need linament and Tylenol. Better go now. Happy Friday, friends.

    1. Hi Lois-
You'd think id be in shape with all the exercise! Whew! Handsome is much better, thanks. We both have a lingering cough, but we'll get rid of that, too. Thanks for asking.

  3. Sounds like you have a massive case of the galloping ick (a term we use that pretty much described the mess that gets created in order to make any sort of change).

    1. Hi MA-
You have no idea. It's really pure chaos right now. Our goal is to have Jan situated in her own room by Wednesday next. There'll be a LOT of moving "stuff" before then. Fingers crossed.

  4. Sounds like a great plan you have going.
I'm also in need of Tylenol tonight, I spent the day cutting back brush.
It was wonderful working outside, weather was just perfect with a heavy breeze.
    Enjoy the weekend.
