I've been attempting to write a blog post for today on my desktop since yesterday, and it's continuing to give me grief. I fear I'm going to have to bite down and transfer everything to Handsome's unused (newer) machine in the near future. (This post has been published through my iPhone.)
And, here I had pantry photos edited and ready to share today. So, please forgive me. I'll try again later to put up that post for tomorrow. Instead, I'm going to bake bread...or take a walk. I'll be back tomorrow - one way or another. Happy Friday!

Sherryofcreateology: Oh Dear! I don’t now which is worse…computer troubles that I know nothing about or my husband who knows everything but makes it all so complicated and takes forever!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry-
DeleteI'm the "techie" in our family, but don't know that much to begin with. I may end up calling in grandchild reinforcements! They're so much more computer literate!
Hugs,
xoxo

Oh no! So sorry you're still having issues with your computer. At least you have a backup if necessary. Good luck! And enjoy your enforced squirrel moments today.
ReplyDeleteHi MA-
DeleteI'm grateful for the backup, because purchasing new is not in the budget. I would be thrilled if things just functioned as they're supposed to. I guess that's not happening. sigh
Hugs, xoxo

I have known your frustration. I have to leave it to the professionals, I'm clueless when it comes
ReplyDeleteto technology.
Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Shirley-
DeleteI thought I'd averted computer replacing, but fear it's nearly inevitable. I know just enough to be dangerous. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to do the transfer. Ugh.
Hugs,
xoxo

I have started to blog again and wanted to mention a few things - I totally get the computer thing, I have recently considered the possibility that a good toss across the room might do us both good - my computer and me. So you struck a cord with me on that frustration. Secondly, baking bread, have you ever heard of Tartine Bread? I recently ran across the most wonderful cookbook simply titled "Tartine Bread" by Chad Robertson. It is filled with not only the no longer secret recipes he developed to create this bread, but also lots of recipes on how to use the bread, esp day old. Including what sounds and looks like an amazing French Onion Soup. If you haven't ever made this bread you should check it out. I am thinking about attempting it.
ReplyDeleteHellos again, dear Troy-
DeleteBread question first. I've never heard of tartine bread before, but I'm certainly going to look into it. I'm fascinated! As far as the dang computer, man! Im frustrated. I've been attempting my favorite method to deal with machinery on the fritz...turn it off, ignore it, and give it time to heal on its own. I fear it's not going to work this time. sigh
Welcome back to blogging, dear friend.
Hugs,
xoxo

I hope you find a recipe you can do - look for the ones by Chad - he invented the bread and wrote the book.. let me know how it turns out.
DeleteI'm not tech savvy, hubby does all of that.
ReplyDeletewhatever you did, I hope it was fun!
