When I'm Not Canning...

Brynwood Exclusive "Something Blue" Bridal Brooches (and a Regal Purple One, too)

I'll be making heart brooches. There are going to be "Something Blue" Bridal Brooches, a regal purple one for someone special, and a number of beautiful red Valentine Heart Brooches for February. I may just sell these directly through my blog and Facebook/Instagram this time, as I'm planning a big sale in my Etsy shop for February of my existing inventory.

I'm working today, so wish me a warm store. It's still bitterly cold here, but I'll be bundled for the ride over, and last time I worked it was so comfortably warm that I took off my knit jacket. I'm hoping for the same today. Speaking of which, I'd better get cracking. I sure don't want to be late! See you tomorrow.

    1. Hi Laura!
Thanks so much, dear. When Handsome picked me up after work it was a bone chilling 4º F! We had some of the turkey vegetable soup with fresh dinner rolls (I didn't make them). It was just what I needed (along with a hot cuppa) to chase the chills away. Hope you're staying warm, too, dear.
      Love,
      xoxo

    1. Hi Marilyn:
Thanks, dear. Looking forward to starting them on Wednesday. I'm getting real tired of this cold weather! Spring can come any day now. You stay bundled up, too!

  3. No grass growing under your feet! Or should that be "no ice thawing under your feet"? 😄 Looking forward to seeing these hearts become more sparkling beauties!

    1. Hi Sherry:
No one is happier than I am to not be ill any more. Now to get rid of this cold weather. SOON!!
It was a good day at work today. Teresa and I are a great team. Even so, I was glad to be back home. It's my happy place.
      Hugs, dear.

  5. Too bad you have to go out in the cold in order to get to work. Stay warm!
I know you'll have no trouble selling your heart brooches and especially now when the wedding season is rapidly approaching.

    1. Hi MA:
THAT'S the truth! It's cold out there! The store was toasty to the extent that I didn't even need to wear my knit jacket all day. That was really nice. I'll have fun making the brooches, and hope there are brides who'd love to wear them. Thanks, dear.
      Hugs,
      xoxo

  6. More beauties in the works.
    Safe travels.
That bitter cold is headed to the East Coast by the end of the week.
This two feet of snow won't melt until July.

    1. Hi Shirley:
Thanks, hon. I sure hope so. Work went well, but I'm over the cold weather. 4º F when I left work today. Bone chilling. Oh, dear. Please stay safe if it's coming your way. You aren't going to like it even one little bit. You're right. At this rate, it's definitely going to take a while. I'm so glad we didn't have to deal with snow AND these temps. I'd be quitting my job and staying inside until summer if that were the case. Please take care.
      Hugs,
      xoxo
