I stayed with this yesterday until I completed the wing! There was some frogging, but in the end, I won! The last bluebird wing is finished.
Next will be to complete the tail, legs and feet. I'll do this and then it will be time to move on to the fence post. I have my appointment with the new orthopedist today, but there will still be plenty of time to stitch. We'll see how much I can accomplish and I'll share that soon.
Happy July!!
Oh my, Donna...all your frogging and diligent stitching have been so. worth. it!! He is amazingly realistic! Absolutely lovely! Can't wait to see the rest 🙂 Hope you have a good dr appt!
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear Lois. It feels like it's taking forever, but I'm really proud of how it's looking. I appreciate your validation. Great dr. appointment! Thanks again.

ReplyDeleteLOL, MA. That song is the ringtone for my sister, Jan on my cell phone. We love KC and the Sunshine Band! Great doctor's appointment. Thanks, hon!

Sherryofcreateology: Your Bluebird Wings are stunning. I know how you are a perfectionist when it comes to your stitcheries and this one meets this criteria! Hope you get great news with your appointments dear.
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear Sherry. I'm so happy with them, and glad you think they're good, too. I am a perfectionist with my. needlework, so if I'm not 100% happy, time to frog and redo. It was a wonderful appointment with the new doctor. We've got a plan and we're moving forward. More in tomorrow's post.
